Daily rentals are due back 15 minutes before closing time. Late returns are subject to fees. Participants assume full responsibility for the bicycle and any other equipment rented or included in the rental. Participants agree to compensate Grand Rapids Bicycle Co., at the full retail value, for damages and/or theft of equipment during the rental period. Grand Rapids Bicycle Co. is not responsible for participants who incur equipment malfunction (e.g., flat tire) during the rental period. Upon request, extra bike tubes and tools can be provided to participants for use with the rental equipment. Grand Rapids Bicycle Co. will do its best to resolve any malfunctions, but this service is not guaranteed. Renters will be required to sign a waiver at time of pickup.
Cancellations must be made at minimum 24 hours in advance of scheduled pickup time. Fees will only be refunded in full if minimum times and expectations are met. No refunds given for partial rental time, late cancellations, or delayed or missed pickup. Grand Rapids Bicycle Co is not responsible for time or financial compensation for any delays that could occur outside the control of Grand Rapids Bicycle Co including, but not limited to, weather, traffic, travel delays, illness, navigation.
Rental bikes come equipped with one water bottle cage and flat pedals. Please let us know if there is more we can do to accommodate your ride. Contact us here and we’ll do what we can to find what you need.
Pickups and dropoffs are scheduled through our Ada location at 597 Ada Dr SE. If you would like to request a different location, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance.
